In this short project, we examined the question ‘what makes a Welsh Government Commission effective?’
- What impact can they have upon devolved policy making and public services?
- And in Westminster and Whitehall?
- Is it possible to distill critical success factors?
The work was intended to inform the work of the Commission on the Future of Justice, chair by Lord Thomas, in the first instance – but will have wider implications.
