Mae unigrwydd ac ynysu cymdeithasol yn cael effaith sylweddol ar iechyd a lles pobl h\u0177n. Mae hwn yn flaenoriaeth i Lywodraeth Cymru ers cyn pandemig COVID-19. Yn ystod y pandemig, cynyddodd mesurau pellhau cymdeithasol y risg o unigrwydd ac ynysu cymdeithasol a chyflymwyd y defnydd o dechnoleg i hwyluso cyswllt a chysylltiad cymdeithasol.<\/p>\n
Gofynnodd Llywodraeth Cymru i WCPP weld a yw pobl wedi defnyddio technoleg i feithrin cysylltiadau a lleddfu unigedd ac ynysu cymdeithasol ymhlith oedolion h\u0177n Cymru yn ystod pandemig COVID-19. Fel rhan o'r gwaith hwn, comisiynwyd Prifysgol Caerfaddon i wneud yr ymchwil. Roedd yr ymchwil yn cynnwys arolwg a chyfweliadau gyda darparwyr gwasanaethau iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol a chyfweliadau gyda defnyddwyr gwasanaethau oedolion h\u0177n. Ceisiodd archwilio sut, ac i ba raddau, y mae technolegau digidol wedi cael eu defnyddio i fynd i\u2019r afael ag unigrwydd ymhlith oedolion h\u0177n yn ystod y pandemig ac i nodi\u2019r hyn y gellid ei ddysgu ar gyfer ymdrechion yn y dyfodol i fynd i\u2019r afael ag unigrwydd ymhlith y gr\u0175p hwn.<\/p>\n
