Roedd mynd i\u2019r afael ag unigrwydd yn flaenoriaeth i Lywodraeth Cymru a gwasanaethau cyhoeddus ledled Cymru cyn pandemig y Coronafeirws ac mae wedi dod yn fwyfwy pwysig ers hynny.<\/p>\n
Mae ymateb polisi llywodraethau ar draws y byd sy\u2019n delio \u00e2 phandemig y Coronafeirws wedi bod yn canolbwyntio ar sicrhau bod pob un ohonom yn cadw pellter corfforol oddi wrth bobl eraill. Mae pryder cynyddol ynghylch effaith polis\u00efau cadw pellter corfforol \u2013 y cyfeirir atynt yn aml fel cadw pellter cymdeithasol \u2013 ar unigrwydd ac arwahanrwydd cymdeithasol. Gall technoleg gynnig rhywfaint o ffyrdd posibl i unigolion, teuluoedd, ffrindiau a chymunedau liniaru\u2019r effeithiau hyn.<\/p>\n
Gall y profiad o unigrwydd fod yn drallodus iawn, ac mae\u2019r effeithiau ar iechyd meddwl a chorfforol yn ddifrifol iawn. Mae ymchwil yn dangos bod unigrwydd yn cynyddu\u2019r risg o iselder, dirywiad gwybyddol a dementia, yn ogystal \u00e2 phwysedd gwaed uchel, clefyd coronaidd y galon, str\u00f4c ac mae\u2019n cynyddu\u2019r risg o farwolaeth 26%.<\/p>\n
Mae\u2019r adroddiad hwn yn cyfuno ymchwil sy\u2019n ymwneud ag ymyriadau sy\u2019n defnyddio technoleg i drechu unigrwydd ac arwahanrwydd cymdeithasol.
