Cafodd hyn ei gysylltu \u00e2 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.org.uk\/sites\/health\/files\/PathToSustainability_0.pdf\">gwaith modelu newydd<\/a> gan y Sefydliad Iechyd ar gynaliadwyedd cyllidol y GIG yng Nghymru ac ymchwil gan Sefydliad Iechyd a Gofal Cymdeithasol Cymru i effeithiau posibl gofal iechyd darbodus.<\/p>\n<p>Er bod gan fyrddau ac ymddiriedolaethau iechyd yng Nghymru gynlluniau lleihad costau, roedd gostyngiad yn nifer yr arbedion a nodwyd bob blwyddyn yn awgrymu ei bod yn anoddach sicrhau enillion.<\/p>\n<p>Mae gan y GIG yng Nghymru hanes da o sicrhau effeithlonrwydd drwy wasanaethau caffael a chydwasanaethau gwell, ac mae'n bosibl sicrhau enillion pellach. Mae cryn botensial i wneud hyn hefyd drwy wella'r ffordd y caiff staff eu lleoli; rheoli ystadau a chyfleusterau; cadw cofnodion electronig, defnyddio cymwysiadau digidol sy'n canolbwyntio ar y claf a symleiddio systemau busnes.<\/p>\n<p>Fodd bynnag, er mwyn gwireddu'r cyfleoedd hyn, a sicrhau'r arbedion effeithlonrwydd gofynnol, mae angen rhaglen fwy strategol a pharhaol i Gymru gyfan.<\/p>\n<p>Dylai'r GIG yng Nghymru gyfeirio at waith yr Arglwydd Carter o Coles yn Lloegr ar fynd i'r afael ag amrywiadau effeithlonrwydd diangen rhwng ysbytai ac\u00edwt. Yn hollbwysig i hyn fydd datblygu metrigau effeithlonrwydd gwell i Gymru.<\/p>\n<p>Byddai byrddau ac ymddiriedolaethau iechyd hefyd yn elwa o fwy o gymorth cenedlaethol, er enghraifft, i ddefnyddio enghreifftiau o arfer da yn lleol a gwaith arloesi \u00e2 photensial mawr i wneud newidiadau drwy'r gwasanaeth.
