Mae'r Athro Day yn defnyddio tystiolaeth i ddangos bod angen targedu adnoddau a chreu partneriaethau yn y gymuned\/ysgol er mwyn cael effaith sylweddol ar broblem sydd wedi hen sefydlu yn y rhan fwyaf o wledydd ledled y byd. Mae'r adroddiad yn pwysleisio pwysigrwydd ymgysylltu \u00e2 rhieni a chreu partneriaethau rhagweithiol yn y gymuned, ac mae'n tynnu sylw at yr angen i gael strategaethau ar lefel system er mwyn cau'r bwlch yng nghyrhaeddiad y rhai ar y brig a'r rhai ar y gwaelod yng Nghymru.<\/p>\n<p>Mae'r adroddiad o blaid gweithredu ar sail cynlluniau peilot lleol sy'n targedu'r ardaloedd sydd \u00e2'r angen fwyaf. Mae angen i arweinwyr ysgolion fod yn berchen ar y strategaethau lleol, ac mae angen i 'hyrwyddwyr mewn ysgolion' sy'n cael cyfleoedd Datblygiad Proffesiynol Parhaus a chymorth effeithiol eu gweithredu a'u monitro.
