Gweithiodd y Sefydliad gyda'r Athro Robin Banerjee a'r Athro Colleen McLaughlin o Brifysgol Sussex er mwyn llunio synthesis o waith ymchwil a gwerthusiadau polisi yn ymwneud \u00e2 strategaethau ysgol i hybu iechyd emosiynol ymhlith disgyblion mewn ysgolion cynradd, yn ogystal \u00e2 gwneud argymhellion yn seiliedig ar dystiolaeth ar gyfer polisi Llywodraeth Cymru ar strategaeth genedlaethol yn y maes hwn.<\/p>\n<p>Dengys ymchwil fod ysgolion yn bwysig iawn i iechyd emosiynol plant, yn ogystal \u00e2'u cyflawniad academaidd. Gall gweithgareddau mewn ysgolion gael effaith gadarnhaol sylweddol a pharhaus ar lesiant pobl ifanc. Mae amrywiaeth o raglenni o ansawdd uchel ac sy'n seiliedig ar dystiolaeth yn cynnig arweiniad ac adnoddau gwych ar gyfer cefnogi gweithgareddau mewn ysgolion yn y maes hwn. Fodd bynnag, mae ein hadroddiad diweddaraf yn dadlau bod angen meddwl ac ymarfer mewn ffordd sy'n trin y dasg fel un gymhleth er mwyn cefnogi iechyd emosiynol pobl ifanc yn effeithiol yn yr ysgol. Yn ogystal \u00e2 chynllunio'r union ffordd y bydd gweithgareddau newydd yn cael eu cyflwyno yn ofalus, mae'r awduron yn dadlau o blaid ymgorffori dulliau dysgu cymdeithasol ac emosiynol o fewn systemau ysgol ehangach a'r dull addysgegol ehangach o addysgu a dysgu ar draws y cwricwlwm. Yn hytrach na dewis un neu fwy o raglenni a'u cyflwyno, mae angen menter sy'n cael ei hategu mewn ffordd ofalus a chynhwysfawr sy'n galluogi ysgolion i gynllunio, cyflwyno ac adolygu ffyrdd newydd o fwrw ymlaen \u00e2 gwaith ym maes iechyd emosiynol plant.<\/p>\n<p>Mae 16 o argymhellion yn yr adroddiad ar gyfer datblygu dull dysgu cymdeithasol ac emosiynol sydd wedi'i gynllunio'n dda, sydd \u00e2 chefnogaeth dda iddo, sy'n cyd-fynd ag egwyddorion addysgegol craidd ac sydd wedi'i leoli o fewn ysgol gysylltiedig.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gofynnodd y Gweinidog Addysg a Sgiliau i'r Sefydliad Polisi Cyhoeddus i Gymru roi cyngor arbenigol ar 'yr hyn sy'n gweithio' i ddatblygu gwydnwch emosiynol plant mewn ysgolion cynradd yng Nghymru a'r hyn y gallai Llywodraeth Cymru ei wneud i gefnogi hyn.
