Mae Canolfan Polisi Cyhoeddus Cymru (WCPP) yn gorff brocera gwybodaeth. Ei brif nod yw gwella prosesau llunio polis\u00efau cyhoeddus, dylunio a darparu gwasanaethau cyhoeddus, drwy hyrwyddo diwylliant ac ymagweddu tuag at ddefnyddio tystiolaeth. Mae'n gweithio gydag academyddion ac arbenigwyr i ddarparu tystiolaeth ymchwil o safon uchel a chyngor annibynnol i Lywodraeth Cymru a gwasanaethau cyhoeddus yng Nghymru er mwyn llywio penderfyniadau polisi a gwella canlyniadau.<\/p>\n
Mae llenyddiaeth sy'n tyfu ar gyrff brocera gwybodaeth wedi ceisio gwerthuso pa mor effeithiol yw eu harferion, ond mae llawer ohono wedi bod yn ymwneud \u00e2'u gallu i achosi newidiadau gwirioneddol i bolis\u00efau. Cymharol ychydig o ganolbwyntio a fu ar y ffordd y mae'r cyrff hyn yn dylanwadu ar y broses bolis\u00efau drwy effeithio ar y ffordd y mae llunwyr polis\u00efau'n deall eu gwaith fel rheol.<\/p>\n
Bydd ein dulliau ymchwil ansoddol cymysg yn rhoi asesiad beirniadol, manwl o'n hymagwedd tuag at weithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru. Ein nod yw cynhyrchu dealltwriaeth ynghylch pryd, ym mha ffyrdd ac o dan ba amodau mae Canolfan Polisi Cyhoeddus Cymru, fel un rhan o'r system ehangach o gynghori ar bolis\u00efau yng Nghymru, wedi llywio llunio polis\u00efau.<\/p>\n
