Dr. Alexander Jones is a Research Assistant for the ESRC Policy Innovation Fellowship, seconded to the Wales Centre for Public Policy (WCPP) from Bournemouth University, from October 2024 to January 2025.
His role involves working alongside Dr Rounaq Nayak, to enhance the understanding, capabilities, and skills of evidence generators, policy researchers, policymakers, and practitioners in involving people with lived experience in their work. The Fellowship is an 18-month collaboration between WCPP, and three other What Works Centres – the Centre for Ageing Better, Youth Futures Foundation and the Centre for Homelessness Impact.
Alexander recently completed his PhD in Business from Cardiff University. His research interests include food poverty, alternative food provision, social enterprise and supply chain resilience, specialising in Network Theory. Alex is an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA), with experience teaching across a wide range of Business Management modules.
