Currently Chair of the Board of Newport City Homes, Lynda has worked in the housing sector for the past 15 years, latterly as Group Chief Executive with United Welsh Housing Association.
She has recently been confirmed as Chair Designate for the association that will be formed following the merger of Newport City Homes with Melin Homes. The new organisation will be the largest provider of social housing in Wales.
A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Lynda developed her career in asset management and valuation with the Welsh Development Agency, as Principal Surveyor with Welsh Government and Head of Schools Capital Projects with Value Wales.
She has been a board member with RICS (Wales) and Constructing Excellence in Wales. In addition, she was a member of the Welsh Government Steering Group for the Innovative Housing Programme and the End Youth Homelessness Cymru Steering Group.
Lynda is also a Justice of the Peace.
